Monkey Munchy’s Cinnamon rolls

Monkey Munchy’s Cinnamon rolls


3 cups of all purpose flour

300mls of warm water

1 packet of dried yeast (7gms)

1 teaspoon of salt

3 teaspoons of sugar

20 mls olive oil


50gms approximately of  softened butter

6 tablespoons of granulated sugar. 

1 tablespoon of cinnamon ( you can adjust the sugar and cinnamon to your personal taste)


Add all of the ingredients together in a large clean bowl.

Mix by hand ( 15 minutes kneading ) or machine with a hook for 5 minutes .

Leave to rise in a well oiled bowl and covered for an hour or until doubled in size.

Roll out into a rectangle and spread your  butter over it and sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar mix. Roll up lengthways into a tight roll and cut into twelve slices.

Leave to prove on a greased baking tray for 30 minutes and then bake in the oven at 200 Celsius for 25 minutes or until done .

You can also drizzle with white icing afterwards for an extra sweet and sticky option .
